Building Houses Building Lives

Our Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends.

Dare to Own the Dream Capital Fundraising Campaign

Crisp Area Habitat for Humanity has launched its "Dare to Own the Dream" capital fundraising campaign. The goal is to raise $50,000 to offset the costs for building a handicapped accessible home for Laura Grace, William Grace and their disabled son, Nicholas Hooks and the renovation of a home for Teresa Grant.

Nicholas, who is wheelchair bound, has limited use of his arms and legs. Everyday activities for him are limited to a small area. Taking a bath, washing his hands, or going and out of the house is a major task.
